Nemesis Sports Academy prides itself on quality of service that is brought forth to the table for all of its members. The following is a few gym amenities that our members would look forward to. Nemesis Sports Academy will open with the Best Coaches in the Central Valley. With the combined skill set and knowledge not only as a coach, but as a competitive athlete as well. It is no question that Nemesis Sports Academy will have the best group of coaches in the Central Valley.

These services will assist athletes to become the most competitive they can be. For general classes members, it will allow them to get a good work out in daily while pushing there limits with the proper technique; ultimately reaching there personal goals. Our services will also support our foster youth program, assisting at risk youth by providing a positive outlet to get them off the street and focused in an activity that makes them strong and resilient so that they can overcome barriers and become successful.  For coaches of sports teams, these services are appealing as it enhances the team’s performance making them more competitive, increasing their chance to win.

Strength and Conditioning Fitness Classes

Strength & Conditioning

Utilizing the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our programming combines strength training with metcons (a.k.a. metabolic conditioning, or the “classic” Crossfit cardio workout). Our Strength and Conditioning classes run an hour in length, and on any given day, you could be working on skills like pull-ups, a back squat, or rowing on the erg mixed with some burpees. What’s really great is that within these workouts, movements can be scaled down (or up!) for any level of fitness at any age, so they’re challenging every time. And, because you never know what to expect with our programing for the day, it promises an engaging, exciting experience every time you walk through the door—which is why we all love it!

Outside of the Strength and Conditioning fitness classes, we are proud to offer level-based classes. These classes allow us to distinguish a level of proficiency for each member and then educate them accordingly – providing better feedback and more time with each person. Think of it similarly to colleges having numerical classes that represent complexity and expectations of the material to be covered.

Youth Development Program / Sports Specific Training

This program provides customized strength and conditioning for junior high and high school level- students, athletes, and sports teams.  This program provides the best certified coaching in the Central Valley; ensuring youth make significant improvement, becoming strong in body and mind. The atmosphere of this program teaches many life lessons such as commitment, dedication, hardworking, social skills, teamwork, and character. For youth in school sports, this program provides customized strength and conditioning specific to the sport(s), enhancing athlete sports performance. This program has a non-profit component, providing scholarships to low income and at risk foster youth.

Olympic Weightlifting Technique Classes

Olympic-style weightlifting, or officially “Weightlifting” is the style of weightlifting contested at the Olympic games and consists of two main disciplines called the snatch and the clean & jerk. The events of weightlifting, or “lifts”, test virtually all of the muscles in an athlete’s body (including but not limited to, the legs, the back. the shoulders, the arms, the grip and the core) – more muscles than any other single sport. Our technique classes helps to break down the lifts into more comprehensible sections that can be learned and allow a person to progress properly and avoid injury.

Gymnastics Skills Training / Technique Classes

In our strength and conditioning fitness classes, body-weight movements are considered gymnastics (e.g., air squat, push-up, pull-up, hand stands/ HS push up, etc.). We are taking skills from the sport of gymnastics and applying them to workouts. These various skills take coordination, body weight/core strength, and awareness. Our skills training/ technique classes will help break down each skill(s) into comprehensible sections that can be learned and allow a person to progress properly, enhance flexibility, and avoid injury.

NSA Bakery

NSA bakery is a women’s training structured fitness class we offer that focuses primarily on the lower body, specifically targeting the legs (glutes), waist, and core (abs)! The programing is designed to strengthen, tighten, and tone those areas through our constantly varied exercises, functional training, and conditioning. We want you leaving our class feeling confident, embracing your curves, and most of all, having a good time with our amazing community of women!
